Located on a plot of 11.46m × 21.65m in the City of Mar del Plata, in an area undergoing full renewal of its building fabric, Bonjo V is conceived as a residential building of contemporary aesthetic.
The project deepens the formation of a three-dimensional boundary that helps to enhance both interior and exterior space, and the relationship between the building and the city. This boundary functions as a filter for privacy and noise while responding to its implantation by generating an expansion space protected from the climate and strong winds.
The materialisation of the three-dimensional boundary is achieved through a variable sequence of vertical planes in exposed brick and painted render, which while giving movement to the facade, establish a dialogue with the urban context through materials that reference local cultural heritage.
